Griha Pravesh Puja
गृह प्रवेश पूजा
Significance
Griha Pravesh is the housewarming ceremony performed when entering a new home. It purifies the new space, invokes positive energy, and seeks blessings of Vastu Purush (deity of the dwelling). There are three types: Apoorva (new house), Sapoorva (re-entry after renovation), and Dwandwa (re-entry after calamity).
