The Sparrow and the Elephant
A sparrow's eggs were crushed when a rogue elephant shook her tree. Heartbroken, she sought help from her friends. A woodpecker, a fly, and a frog — all tiny creatures — agreed to help. Together, they made a plan. First, the fly buzzed sweetly near the elephant's ears, lulling him into closing his eyes in pleasure. Then the woodpecker pecked out both eyes, blinding the elephant. Maddened with pain and thirst, the elephant stumbled through the forest searching for water. The frog led a chorus of croaking near a deep pit filled with mud. The blind elephant followed the sound, thinking it was a pond, and fell into the pit. Trapped and helpless, the mighty elephant perished. Four tiny friends, working together with a clever plan, defeated a giant.
